HOME PAGE Glasgow Lace Group LACE DAY
Here are a few details of where/when the Group Meets and how to get there.
2018
~MEETING VENUE~
After 29 years Glasgow Lace Group has moved from Renfield St Stephen’s to the Quaker Meeting House. In the past the large bright room was filled with lace makers. Times have changed. Membership for Friday morning meetings is down and unfortunately costs have risen. We have only moved a short distance; the Meeting House is in Elmbank Crescent, just behind the King’s Theatre .This move will hopefully secure the future for the group.
As a result of the move we decided to de-clutter. So the bits and pieces for the beginners were sorted out and the library books were checked. Over the years books have been bought and others have been donated. As a result we have duplicates as well as some old books. These we are putting up for sale. See list below. (No reasonable offer refused).
Meetings are held in The Quaker Meeting House.
38 Elmbank Cresent, Glasgow G2 4PS.
On Thursday Mornings ONLY Between 10.00am - 1.00pm
